Why Do We Only Roast on Lorings?

Loring roasters benefit from a closed-loop system, making the roasting process almost entirely automatic and self-regulating. Instead of constantly reheating the ambient air, Lorings recirculate the heat, requiring less energy to reach ideal roasting temperatures. This means more fresh, flavorful coffee for you and less waste.

Nitrogen Flush

Coffee starts to lose its freshness shortly after roasting. To combat this and extend the life of our coffee, we immediately package, nitrogen flush, and seal each bag. Nitrogen is a naturally occurring, non-reactive, food-safe gas that's heavier than air, forcing out flavor-stealing oxygen before the bag is sealed.

Certifications

Our products are designed with environmental and ethical considerations in mind. They are BPI certified to break down completely in commercial facilities, Organic certified to signify environmentally-conscious cultivation, OU Kosher certified for quality assurance, and Fair Trade certified to support small farming families and communities.

Our Process

1. Sourcing: We source specialty coffees from every growing region in the world.
2. Roasting: We roast per order in our Loring Smart Roasters, using individually crafted roast profiles.
3. Shipping: We pack, nitrogen flush, and seal our products right after roasting to ensure coffee at its best.

Compatibility and Disclaimer

This single-serve coffee is compatible with many popular K-Cup brewing systems, including 2.0, K-Supreme, and K-Supreme Plus. It is not compatible with NINJA single-serve coffee makers.
